Angiocatheter is a small, flexible catheter that is placed inside the patient’s peripheral vessels for intravenous injections and fluid therapy. After the angiocatheter is placed, it can also be used to draw blood. The angiocatheter is inserted into the patient’s vein with a needle. When the catheter is placed in the patient’s vein, the needle is removed from the angiocatheter and the catheter remains in the patient’s vein. It is then secured to the patient’s skin using an anti-allergic adhesive. Polymed and Vitromed catheters are used to inject drugs, blood and other intravenous fluids such as glucose, saline solutions, etc. into the human body. This product is designed with premium materials and manufactured with advanced techniques to minimize pain and friction during the venipuncture process and patient comfort.
